General Manager, Communications and Event Coordinator - Full-time

Full-time

This individual will be responsible for creating and managing all communications and events for Girly Girl Fashion. They will also be assigned general managerial duties including but not limited to managing other staff members assignments and ensuring work load is complete. This is mostly a remote position, with the exception of being onsite for events and monthly team meetings with the CEO, & all staff members.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing newsletters, press releases and blog posts
  • Pitching to media and developing public relations tactics and relationships with various media outlets on behalf of Girly Girl Fashion (within North America)
  • Helping to brainstorm events for Girly Girl Fashion and creating those events, considering all aspects of the event (transportation, sanitation, food, entertainment, etc.)
  • Developing budgets for events
  • Securing sponsors for Girly Girl Fashion events and maintaining sponsorship relationships
  • Competitor research (attending competitor events and reporting back)
  • Sourcing and managing all vendors for events, from inception of events to execution the day of the events
  • Attending all vendor or sponsor meetings
  • Guest list management
  • Following up with Sponsors and Vendors
  • Must be flexible and able to take on new tasks and must be able to work on multiple projects at once

  • Timeline and floorplan development
  • Research of any permits needed
  • On-site management and supervision of all Girly Girl Events
  • Post-event reports
  • Manage Pop up Truck and all Pop up Shop Events

Skills Required:

  • Background or education in PR, communications or journalism, events or marketing.
  • Event execution experience. Event planning experience
  • Experience writing press releases, blogs and other written materials
  • Knowledge of CP Style
  • Experience pitching media, creating media lists, gathering media hits and developing communication or marketing plans

Business Solution Representative - Full-time

Full-time

Girly Girl Fashion is looking for a part-time Business Solutions Representative. This position is remote, with the occasional need for in person team meetings and being present at events to manage merchandise sales.   • Update inventory and manage and track all orders as they arrive
  • Check weekly on stock levels and order supplies and stock as needed
  • Manage our warehouse inventory and work with our fulfillment house to fulfil orders for customers
